The Japanese businessman not only made the claim but also proved it in the live show. He used to sleep less than an hour every day during the show, which was streamed for three consecutive days. Daisuke also spent a good amount of time in the gym during this period and looked energetic all the time.

Not officially, but Japan’s Daisuke Hori is the 8th wonder in the world. He has trained himself so well that he can perform all his activities with only 30 minutes of sleep. Hori is a 40-year-old entrepreneur who lives in western Japan.
According to a South China Morning Post, Hori sleeps only 30 to 45 minutes a day. The post further claims that Hori performs gym sessions and works in his daily routine. “As long as you do sports or drink coffee an hour before eating, you can stave off drowsiness,” Hori says.
Additionally, our 8th Wonder has trained about 2100 students to maintain work efficiency even with short sleep. One student even claims to sleep only 90 minutes a day. A student shared with Yomiuri TV that he reduced her sleep from eight hours to 90 minutes.
