I waited 60 Years to Interview Russ Tamblyn – “The View” Host 

During the interview, “The View” host Whoopi Goldberg Geeks was so excited. Whoopi announced that she waited for Russ Tamblyn for more than 60 years, and finally, the pleasing moment arrived.

“The View” host Whoopi Goldberg Geeks showed her hidden side by disclosing her excitement for some special guests. On Tuesday morning, the ABC moderator looked particularly thrilled to be talking to Russ Tamblyn. 

Russ Tamblyn is known for his performance in “West Side Story” and a favorite for The View host. Tamblyn played Riff in the original 1961 film West Side Story. However, he also played many other characters who got great appreciation from the fans. 

Some of the best movies of Russ Tamblyn include “Tom Thumb,” “Peyton Place,” “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and some other movies. 

Now, Tamblyn has a new memoir out called “Dancing on the Edge.” He appeared with daughter Amber Tamblyn on The View to promote Dancing on the Edge. 

They discussed their lives, achievements, and much more with Whoopi Goldberg Geeks. The ABC host looked excited throughout the entire program, and everyone enjoyed it. 

However, when the time came for Russ’ segment to end, the host was bummed but took a minute to give Tamblyn his flowers.

What does “The View” host say?

While giving flowers to West Side Story legend, Whoopi Goldberg Geeks expressed her feelings. She said, “Well, you know what? This was way too short. I waited 60 years for this.” The host added, “I waited 60 years to meet you. I mean, I blame Russ Tamblyn for Whoopi Goldberg.” 

Russ’ daughter replied to Whoopi that she also blamed her father for who she is in a humorous way. 

What is “Dancing on the Edge?”

Dancing on the Edge is a British television drama, produced by the BBC. Stephen Poliakoff has written and directed this TV series. The series aired on BBC two between February 4 and March 10, 2013. Dancing on the Edge received 3 nominations at 71st Golden Globe Awards.
