Another IPL match, another home ground, and another home team won the match. The LSG vs PBKS game completely exposed Punjab’s middle order. While usually, the whole team wins or loses together this time, only the Punjab middle-order batters couldn’t perform well, which cost them the game.
The opening batsmen, Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow played really well and gave their team a good start. Even Prabhsimran Singh, who batted third, did a decent job. But unfortunately, the middle-order batsmen didn’t play their part effectively, and that’s why Punjab lost the match.
