Captain Alyssa Healy of UP Warriorz won the toss and chose to field first, giving Mumbai Indians the opportunity to bat. Mumbai Indians set a competitive target of 162 runs after completing their 20 overs. Hayley Matthews, the opening batsman for MI, showcased an impressive innings, scoring 55 runs. However, the middle order’s performance was lacking, resulting in Matthews’ efforts going to waste.

Yastika Bhatia emerged as the second-highest scorer for MI, contributing 26 runs off 22 balls. The opening pair swiftly accumulated 50 runs for MI. However, after the dismissals of Yastika and Matthews, no MI batsman managed to stay at the crease for a substantial amount of time.

Healy contributed with 33 runs, while her partner Kiran smashed a fast 50 on just 31 balls. 

Both Alyssa Healy and Kiran Navgire contributed 94 runs for UP Warriorz, steering them to a commanding position. Grace Harris and Deepti Sharma further bolstered the score with 38 and 27 runs respectively.

Issy Wong claimed two wickets for Mumbai Indians, while Amelia Kerr secured one.
