How Taylor Swift Manages to Perform in All Weather Conditions

Taylor Swift performs with the same energy and passion in all weather conditions, thanks to a special routine designed to never disappoint her fans.

Taylor Swift is currently on her Eras Tour and is about to perform her 100th concert. She doesn’t plan to stop there; 50 more shows are lined up for her Eras Tour.

Traveling during the day and performing every night is never easy. It’s a routine that lasts for months, something only legends can endure. Yet, the “You Belong with Me” singer has handled it effortlessly and continues to push forward.

While Taylor Swift may not worry much about her health, it’s a serious concern for her fans, who have been sharing their worries on social media. A TikTok video captured Taylor Swift performing even in falling snow on June 7.

Another TikTok video shows Taylor Swift asking her backup dancers, “I wanna keep it,” when taking off her jacket after performing “Lavender Haze.” This level of dedication to her health and performance sets her apart from many other artists.

Taylor Swift’s fitness routine

In a recent interview with Time, Taylor Swift revealed her intense preparation for the Eras Tour, which began six months before the first show in March 2023. Her unique and viral workout regimen involved running on the treadmill while singing the entire setlist from the tour.

Swift adjusted her pace to match the tempo of the songs—sprinting for fast tracks and jogging or brisk walking for slower ones.

During her performance in Edinburgh, Scotland, she described the demanding routine: “I would have ‘dead days’ between shows, where I rested as much as possible,” she explained. “I barely left my bed except to get food. Singing for three shows straight strains my voice, and every step makes my feet crunch from dancing in heels. But it’s the most fulfilled I’ve ever felt.”

Swift also shared that she abstains from alcohol while on tour and maintains her workout routine between performances to keep her strength and stamina up, which are crucial for enduring her three-hour sets. “I’m committed to performing no matter my condition—sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable, or stressed. It’s part of my identity now.”

Her upcoming performances are scheduled for June 13-15, 2024, at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England.
