The former Bon Jovi rocker, Richie Sambora, released his first new song in over a decade. He will soon release some other singles as well.
After a decade-long hiatus, the 64-year-old musician Richie Sambora is making a triumphant return to the music scene with a new solo. This is not just a single release, but a promise of more to come, as Richie Sambora is currently working on a series of songs that will be unveiled in the near future.
“He has been doing a lot of writing the last couple years. He has got more singles coming out after this one,” the source revealed. Source added, “His writing never stopped. He has got a bag of hits and he is on a songwriting tear.”
Richie Sambora earlier talked about his music love and pleasure from the songs he wrote. “I am at that point in my life where I am truly happy, and a big part of that joy comes from writing songs and making music.”
He added, “There is a tremendous freedom with these songs because I don’t have to think about charting number 1 or what’s happening on the radio, but I still put the same craftsmanship, care, and love into it as I did with Slippery When Wet or New Jersey and I hope they bring a similar happiness to those that choose to listen and push play on streaming services.”
Richie Sambora’s singing career
His last solo record, Aftermath of the Lowdown, came out in 2012. He is also known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi from 1983 to 2013. Richie has released three solo albums, Strangers in This Town, Undiscovered Soul, and Aftermath of The Lowdown.
Sambora’s musical journey has been nothing short of remarkable. His contributions to the rock genre were recognized when he was inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Bon Jovi. This is a testament to his talent and the impact he has had on the music industry.
