The Mumbai Police have made significant progress in the investigation into the shooting outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence. They confirmed the involvement of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, based on forensic lab reports.
During the investigation, several suspects were arrested. One of the suspects had a voice recording of Anmol Bishnoi. This recording was sent for forensic analysis. The forensic lab compared it with Bishnoi’s known voice sample and confirmed a match.
This confirmation implicates Anmol Bishnoi in the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence. The Mumbai Police shared these updates on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
However, Anmol Bishnoi, who often changes his locations from the US to Canada, already claimed responsibility. In a Facebook post, the wanted gangster threatened Salman Khan and took responsibility for everything that happened near the “Wanted” star’s home.
His Facebook post read, “We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it.”
Anmol also mentioned the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in his post, “This is the first and last warning. After this, shots will not be fired outside the house only. And we have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel, whom you consider to be Gods. Now, I don’t have the habit of talking much.”
Why Does Anmol Bishnoi Want to Kill Salman Khan?
Not only Anmol Bishnoi but his brother, and one of the most dangerous gangsters of recent times, Lawrence Bishnoi, wants to shoot Salman Khan. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been threatening Khan for years.
They want Salman Khan to apologize publicly for killing a blackbuck. If Bollywood’s Bhaijaan does not make a public apology, Bishnoi will shoot him down.
Salman Khan is accused of killing a blackbuck while shooting a film. Lawrence has a personal interest due to some religious aspects. Lawrence comes from the Bishnoi community which considers blackbucks sacred.
What is the Blackbuck Case?
In 1998, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was accused of killing two blackbucks, a protected species. The incident occurred during the shooting of “Hum Saath Saath Hain” near Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The local Bishnoi community, which considers blackbucks sacred, reported the incident.
Along with co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, and Neelam, Khan faced legal charges for poaching and illegal arms possession. In 2006, Khan was sentenced to five years in prison but was granted bail. The case saw numerous legal twists and appeals over two decades.
In April 2018, Khan was convicted again and sentenced to five years, though he was released on bail shortly after. However, Lawrence wants a public apology from Salman Khan.
Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in Tihar Jail, and most of his gang members are living outside India. Bishnoi operates his gang from the jail and has killed Sidhu Moosewala from there. Lawrence is not a normal gangster who just speaks and threatens people for extortion.
