Here is the bad news for Bad Bunny fans in Philadelphia: their date to meet Bad Bunny could be changed. In most simple terms, if the 76ers lose against the Miami Heat on Wednesday, the Philadelphia concert will be rescheduled.
Note: Philadelphia 76ers have defeated the Miami Heat as per the recent updates. Now the show will take place as scheduled.
Bad Bunny, renowned for hits like “Soy Peor,” kicked off his “Most Wanted” tour in February, captivating audiences in various cities. Among the tour stops was Philadelphia, with a highly anticipated concert scheduled at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday, April 19. However, the Philadelphia leg of his tour faces potential rescheduling due to a conflicting NBA match.
The Bad Bunny’s Tour page on Twitter revealed the news of a potential reschedule. According to the reports, his concert could be rescheduled depending on what happens with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA play-in Tournament.
Why could the Bad Bunny Philadelphia concert be rescheduled?
The Philadelphia vs. Miami Heat match is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17. If the Sixers win the game, they will qualify for the playoffs. However, if they lose, they will get another chance to stave off playoff elimination.
As per the NBA schedule, the date and venue for their other chance are the same as the Bad Bunny Concert and venue. Since the venue and date are the same, Bad Bunny will have to reschedule their Philadelphia concert.
New schedule for the Concert
Although it is not clear yet whether the concert will be rescheduled or not, Thursday is the expected new date for the concert. In case the overlap occurs, Bad Bunny may move a day earlier, on Thursday, April 18.
The potential new date of the concert has been announced by the Bad Bunny Tour account. However, fans are continuously criticizing Ticketmaster for the poor planning.
Old tickets for the concert will be useable in the rescheduled concert. For more information, please visit Ticketmaster.
