On Thursday morning, country music star Carly Pearce shared a post on her social media revealing that she is suffering from a heart condition called pericarditis.
Although she plans to fulfill the upcoming dates of her ongoing tour, her performance may be somewhat subdued due to her doctor’s advice. She will now try to perform without too many physical movements to keep her heartbeat normal.
In the video Carly Pearce shared on her social media, she revealed her condition and plans. “We have all decided that it is in my best interest, as I am healing, to alter my shows a little bit,” she said. Carly added, “So if my shows look a little bit different, just know it is because I have to keep my heart rate under control right now.”
However, she assured fans that this would temporarily change her performances and shows. Once Carly Pearce is well enough, she will return to her usual energy level. “And this does not mean I am not going to be completely fine; it just means right now, I have got to really take this seriously.”
She also asked for some grace from fans as she will be making some compromises with the quality she usually provides.

According to the Mayo Clinic, pericarditis is a heart-related condition characterized by swelling and irritation of the thin, saclike tissue surrounding the heart. This condition normally causes sharp chest pain.
Though the condition is often manageable and does not always require treatment, doctors may recommend medications in severe cases.
