Danny Masterson Moved to a High-Security Prison in California

Actor Danny Masterson has been sent to a high-security prison in California. He will serve the rest of his sentence in a California prison cell.

As per the reports by The Wrap, actor Danny Masterson has been moved to his final destination, where he will spend the rest of his life. According to the reports, he has been sent to Corcoran State Prison in Central California. 

Corcoran prison is known for its high level of security, where Charles Manson has also spent years. 

What are the charges? 

Danny was convicted, by a Los Angeles jury, of raping two women in 2003. The jury found the actor guilty of rape and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Masterson spent his initial days in a Los Angeles County lockup and then was sent to the North Kern state prison. 

However, as per the updates, Danny has been sent to a California prison recently. It is speculated that Masterson will serve the rest of his punishment in the California prison. 

The exact reason for transferring him from North Kern State Prison to California prison is not known. However, security may be a reason behind the decision to send Danny Masterson to another prison.

Danny is a popular face of the entertainment industry and has worked in “That 70s Show.” In addition, Danny Peter Masterson has some important roles in some popular shows like Men at Work. 

In May 2023, Masterson was convicted of raping two women in 2003. In September 2023, Danny was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.

Masterson started dating actress Bijou Phillips in 2004 and married her on October 18, 2011. Danny and Phillips also have a ten year old daughter as well. However, Phillips has already filed for divorce from Masterson.
