Franz was one of only three football champions who won the cup as a player and as a coach as well. Mr. Franz, also popular with his nickname Der Kaiser, has been suffering from some health issues for the last couple of years.
There has been no official announcement of the reason behind Franz’s death. According to local news, the cause of Franz Beckenbauer’s death was not that serious. He has been suffering from general health problems for the last several years. Probably, his age was the only reason behind his death. Franz also had heart surgery in 2016.
