The defeat against India completely destroyed Pakistan’s Super 8 chances. On the contrary, India confirmed its place in the next round of the T20 World Cup after hunting the arch-rival.
In the super exciting match of the ICC T20 World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by six runs. Beating the neighbors was crucial for the men in green to stay alive in the tournament. However, in typical ICC tournament fashion, Pakistan again lost to India.
No doubt, India vs Pakistan matches have never been easy for either side. However, this match was like a cake in Pakistan’s mouth that they just couldn’t swallow. In other words, India snatched victory from Pakistan’s grasp.
Pakistan vs India highlights
Unlike most cricket teams, Pakistan always prefers to play differently. For most teams, highlights come from batting or bowling. But for Pakistan, the highlights often include fielding – and not in a good way. Unfortunately, it’s usually their poor fielding that stands out.
Rishabh Pant was India’s highest run-getter in today’s match. You won’t believe but Pakistan lost almost four chances to out Pant. Had Rishabh Pant been caught in time, perhaps India would not have been able to reach even 100 runs.
Despite crying and singing, Pakistan crossed 100, if 50% of Pant’s runs are removed then Pakistan will win.
Highlights
Initially, the rain disturbed the start of the match. Somehow, the toss was conducted, and Pakistan won and decided to bowl first.
