Kid Cudi shared a post on X, formally known as Twitter, reporting an injury he got at the Coachella set. The rapper posted about the injury after leaving the hospital.

Popular rapper Kid Cudi was set to perform at the Sahara Tent on Sunday afternoon at Coachella. However, due to an unfortunate accident, his performance ended with a broken foot. 

The rapper himself took the injury to the micro-blogging site X and shared updates. Kid Cudi wrote on X, “Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show. just leaving the hospital. Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy.”

He added, “I wanna thank you all for your concerns and well wishes!! I love you all, man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big.” 

Fans also reacted to his injury and are wishing for an early recovery. 

What happened to Kid Cudi?

According to the reports and Kid’s official Twitter post, he was injured at the Sahara set at Coachella. A viral video shows the rapper trying to jump from the set during his performance. Because he did not fall properly, one of his feet was seriously broken. 

After making the jump, we can see Kid Cudi howling in the video. The support staff soon approached the rapper and took him for medical checkups and treatment. 

Due to the injury, fans missed almost 40 minutes of Kid’s performance. 

The rapper last performed at Coachella events in 2019. Fans had eagerly awaited his performance for the last five years. Unfortunately, this time, his performance also did not reach its peak and ended before time. 

Fans waiting for his performance can see Cudi during his upcoming tour. Cudi will kickstart his new tour in June.
