Miss World Awards 2024: Meet All the Contestants 

India will host the Miss World Awards ceremony on March 9. Bollywood actor, director, and producer Karan Johar will host the 71st beauty pageant. 

The Miss World Award show will be live today from the Jio World Convention Center in BKC, Mumbai. India is hosting the event after 28 years. Before the Miss World Awards 2024, India hosted the 46th edition of this grand event in 1996. 

One hundred twelve candidates will participate in the 71st Miss World finale on March 9. This Miss World edition is based on the “Beauty with a Purpose” theme. 

A twelve-member judge panel will select the new Miss World from all the participants. Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, actress Kriti Sanon and, Pooja Hegde will also be a paon theel. 

Other names, such as CEO of Miss World Organization Julia Evelyn Morley CBE and Sajid Nadiadwala, will also be there to judge participants and announce the new Miss World. The organization has not announced the names, but three former Miss World winners will also participate as judges.

Who is Sini Shetty representing India?

Sini Shetty is one of the 112 candidates who participated in the Miss World finale. According to Wikipedia, she is an Indian beauty pageant titleholder and the winner of Femina Miss India 2022. 

Sini was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. However, her family originally belonged to Karnataka. She completed her initial education at Dominic Savio Vidhyalaya in Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
