The Ram Mandir (Ram Temple) inauguration ceremony is all set to take place in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. As the auspicious date is around the corner, let’s take a closer look at the grand event, its schedule, and booking details. 

Ram Mandir’s Inauguration date

The Ram Mandir Trust has officially declared that the elaborate consecration ceremony (pran pratishtha) is set to take place on January 22, 2024. The auspicious return of Ram Lala to his home and the grand event is scheduled for 12:20, as announced by the trust. The non-crucial practices for the ceremony are slated to commence on January 16, according to Mandir officials.

The historical event for Hindus all over the world will be held in the presence of 8K invitees, including 1,500 to 1,600 “eminent guests.” Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, State CM Mr. Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Chief Mr. Mohan Bhagwat will be the chief guests at the ceremony. 

Sonia Gandhi, Mukesh Ambani, Dalai Lama, Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, Madhuri Dixit, and some other politicians and celebrities will also join. 

Arti and Bookings 

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has initiated the process for devotees to secure passes for participating in the Mandir Aarti. Devotees can apply for Arti passes through both online and offline channels. It’s important to be aware that Aarti passes will not be available during the inauguration ceremony. 

Additionally, in the initial days, only 30 devotees will be permitted to participate in the grand Arti at a given time.

  • 6:30 AM – Shringar Aarti
  • 12 PM – Bhog Arti
  • 7:30 PM – Sandhya Aarti

Note: Aarti passes are available only on government-authorized ID cards like Aadhar cards, PAN cards, Voter ID cards, etc. 

Ayodhya Mandir Location 

The historic temple is located on the birthplace of Lord Rama in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The temple premises cover an area of 2.77 acres, encompassing the sacred surroundings of Lord Rama’s birthplace.

How to reach Ayodhya Ram Mandir? 

Devotees of Rama Lala have the convenience of reaching the temple through various modes of transportation, including flights, trains, and buses. Ayodhya, being a significant pilgrimage site, is well-connected and accessible to visitors from different parts of the country.

Flight: Ram Lala temple has its own airport, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham, Ayodhya. Devotees can fly directly to the airport and then cover the remaining distance at their convenience.

Train: Ayodhya has its own railway station and is well-connected to major cities across India. Devotees can opt for train travel, making it a convenient and affordable choice for many pilgrims.

Bus: Ayodhya is well-connected by road, and there are regular bus services from nearby cities and towns. Many devotees prefer buses for their pilgrimage, enjoying the scenic route to Ayodhya.
