RCB lost the match after a nail-biting battle against the biggest challengers, Delhi Capitals. Skipper Smriti Mandhana played a fantastic inning in this RCB vs DC match. 

The RCB vs DC match was like a highlight, full of big sixes, great fielding efforts, and much more. Shafali Verma and Alice Capsey played swift knocks for their team and set a huge target for RCB. 

Bengaluru once again won hearts but failed to win the match, although Smriti stole the limelight for her team. 

RCB vs DC Highlights 

RCB won the toss and elected to field first, which eventually resulted in a bad decision for Bengaluru fans. DC lost its first wicket in the fifth over in the form of Meg Lanning. Lanning scored only 11 runs on 17 balls. However, Shefali Verma and her new partner in the crease, Alice Capsey, took charge. 

Shafali hit 50 runs very fast after facing only 30 balls. Unfortunately, she lost her wicket on the very next ball. Verma hit four massive sixes and three mindblowing fours in her innings. 

Alice Capsey also played a fast inning of 46 runs and hit two big sixes. She also smashed four impressive boundaries in her 33-ball innings. Marizanne Kapp also scored 32 runs at a strike rate of 200. Her innings were decorated with three skyscraper sixes and two fours.

Jess Jonassen also contributed with 36 runs to take DC a strong total of 194 runs. 

RCB Bowling 

Sophie Devine and Nadine De Klerk got two wickets each for RCB. Shreyanka Patil also got one crucial wicket. 

RCB Batting 

Smriti Mandhana was the main highlight of the RCB batting lineup overall in the RCB vs DC game. She scored 74 runs on just 43 balls and hit three sixes and ten fours. However, Sabbineni Meghana was the only player who contributed to RCB well after Mandhana. 

Meghana scored 36 crucial runs for her team and hit one six and two fours. Sophie Devine also contributed with 23 runs, which were obviously not enough for RCB to win. Richa Ghosh, with 19 runs, was the last woman who tried to win for Bengaluru. 

Rest RCB batters didn’t even get a second digit and lost their wickets quickly. 

DC Bowling 

Jess Jonassen got a maximum of three wickets for Delhi. Marizanne Kapp and Arundhati Reddy also got two wickets each. Shikha Pandey also gets a crucial wicket for her team.
