As per a TMZ report, Kris Janner’s sister Karen Houghton died at 65 on Monday. As per the recent updates, Karen was reported as deceased to San Diego County Officials in San Marcos, California. 

No specific cause of death has been officially disclosed at this time. However, initial reports indicate that her passing may have been attributed to natural reasons. 

Karen Houghton was the only sister of Kris Janner from parents MJ and Robert Houghton. She was born three years younger than the famed momager. Both sisters have been deeply connected with each other since their childhood in San Diego.

Kris is looking so sad because of the death of her beloved sister. She shared an emotional social media post and remembered her childhood friend and sister Karen.

Along with her sister’s picture, Janner wrote, “It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly.” 

She wrote her concerns regarding her mom, “My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie, and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out.” Kris added, “She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny. She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends, especially her beautiful daughter. She holds such a huge part of my heart, and I cherish every single memory we have together.”

She also wrote, “Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised. We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you, my beautiful sister.”
