The ongoing feud between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian is once again in the news. Taylor Swift has recently released her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which is getting massive love among her fans.
However, the “thanK you aIMee” is viral for something else besides its pleasing lyrics and music. Due to some lines mentioned in the track, people are considering it a diss track targeting Kim Kardashian. In addition, the superstar singer has played a game with the title by capitalizing KIM.
Lyrics in Taylor Swift’s diss track that may be offensive to Kim are;
“All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F— you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ / But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.”
Kim Kardashian’s response
Kim has not talked on the topic directly but a source from PEOPLE has shared her reaction. According to the source, the She Loves Her Friends singer is ready to put the past behind her. She has forgotten everything that happened between the two and wants Taylor to move on.
Previously in 2019, on Watch What Happens Live, Kardashian said something similar. She said that everyone involved in the matter has moved past the feud. However, in 2023 Taylor Swift said, “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.”
The feud started in 2016 due to Kim’s ex-husband and his controversial song, Famous. Kim claimed that Taylor had approved controversial lyrics of the song. But Taylor denied. Then Kim released some phone call footage of West and Swift and that resulted in a word war.
