The Aurora Police Department was informed about a missing SUV and a small girl inside the vehicle. Police started searching for both on Sunday and now the Amber alert has also been issued.
Missing Girl is found and safe now!
The Aurora Police Department is searching for a 2015 Jeep Compass with Colorado plates with CQV-601 number. According to the police report, this vehicle was stolen from a gas station at Iliff Avenue and Havana Street.
The issued alert also included a 6 year old girl who was sitting inside the Jeep. The police department describes the 6 year old girl as a Black female with braids and wearing a rainbow jacket. The missing girl’s name is Aaliyah.
Authorities request the public to contact 911 if they see the missing girl or the missing vehicle or both.

Aaliyah is a black female with braids wearing a rainbow jacket. Call 911 if you have seen the vehicle or little girl.

The Amber Alert has been canceled.
No additional information is expected tonight. This remains an active investigation.
