Cinema lovers, especially those born in the 70s, are mourning the tragic loss of Martin Mull. The American actor and comedian was known for appearing in TV sitcoms Roseanne and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Mull also has a singer identity.
Martin died at the age of 80 after fighting with a severe long-term health condition on Thursday. His daughter, Maggie Mull, took it to social media to give her father a tribute.
Maggie’s Instagram post read, “My father was known for excelling at every creative discipline imaginable and doing Red Roof Inn commercials.” She also added, “He would find that joke funny; he was never not funny.”
Mull, who also starred in the 1985 comedy film “Clue”, died at his residence among his family.
Martin Eugene Mull has left their wife, Wendy Haas, and only daughter, Maggie Mull, alone. Wendy is also known for her musical interests and singing career.

Martin Mull was a versatile entertainer known for his music, television, comedy, and art work. He began his career in music with the band “Martin Mull and His Fabulous Furniture,” releasing several albums in the 1970s. Despite limited commercial success in music, his album “Sex & Violins” was Grammy-nominated
Martin gained significant recognition on television, starting with “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman” (1976-1977) and its spin-offs “Fernwood 2 Night” and “America 2 Night.” He later had roles in popular shows like “Roseanne,” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” “The Ellen Show,” “Dads,” and “The Cool Kids.”
His film roles included “Mr. Mom” (1983), “Clue” (1985), and “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993).
Additionally, he was an accomplished artist whose work featured photorealism, pop art, and collage. His paintings were exhibited widely, and some were used on book and album covers.
