Eminem Unwrapped the Release Date for The Death of Slim Shady 

Eminem’s 12th studio album is ready to surprise fans in July. The “Lose Yourself” singer has unwrapped the release date of The Death of Slim Shady with a horror video. 

Eminem recently announced the release date of his highly anticipated 12th studio album, “The Death of Slim Shady,” which is July 12. 

He unveiled it through a chilling video on his official Instagram profile. The video features a hospital scene where doctors are seen delivering a baby. Initially successful, their relief turns to tension as the baby fails to cry. 

As the video unfolds, the child undergoes a supernatural transformation, becoming a demon. 

The date “12.07.2024” then flashes on screen, marking the album’s release date. Fans eagerly await this latest offering from Eminem, teased with his signature blend of storytelling and provocative imagery.

The Real Slim Shady singer also mentioned the release date in the caption of his Instagram video. His caption read, “Oh sh*t!!! The death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) 7/12!!.” 

Eminem released the lead single off of The Death of Slim Shady, Houdini, on May 31. Additionally, he has released another hit from the album “Tobey” that he also informed about through an instagram post. 

Eminem’s previous albums 

Eminem’s last 11 albums have experienced varying degrees of success. Beginning with “The Eminem Show” in 2002, the album achieved massive commercial success and critical acclaim. “Encore,” released in 2004, garnered mixed reviews but still posted strong sales.

In 2009, Eminem marked his return after a hiatus with “Relapse,” which received mixed positive reviews and solid sales figures. The 2010 release of “Recovery” represented a significant comeback, both critically and commercially, featuring chart-topping hits like “Love the Way You Lie.”

“The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” released in 2013, was well-received and commercially successful. However, “Revival” in 2017 faced mixed reviews despite topping the charts.

2018 saw the surprise release of “Kamikaze,” which was praised for its raw energy and achieved significant commercial success. “Music to Be Murdered By,” along with its deluxe version released later in 2020, garnered positive reviews and strong sales.
