Fans have been speculating about the video for more than a week. “The Boy Is Mine” also features actor Penn Badgley and surprise cameos by Monica and Brandy.
Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Ariana Grande, the pop sensation, has unveiled her highly-anticipated music video from her Billboard chart-topping album ‘Eternal Sunshine’, marking a significant milestone in her career.

The music video tells a unique story of a rat infestation and the city’s desperate sanitation efforts. When the mayor’s plan fails, he resorts to releasing feral cats into the streets. In a bid to win the mayor’s heart, Grande transforms into a cat, adding a touch of whimsy to the narrative.
The video also features cameos from Monica and Brandy, the original duet seen in 1998’s “The Boy Is Mine”. Grande reveals that the duet from the old video inspired her to create her own video. Monica and Brandy are playing anchors reporting the crisis in the video.
“The Boy Is Mine” is a track from Eternal Sunshine, Ariana Grande’s seventh studio album. Recording was finished in December 2023, and the album was released on March 8, 2024.
