Grammy Award-winning singer reveals that she is pregnant and expecting a child soon. Ashanti and Nelly are also officially engaged now and will marry in the years to come.
While chatting with ESSENCE, the star singer revealed that she is expecting her first child with longtime love Nelly. She also disclosed that Nelly is her fiance now. While unwrapping the new chapter of her life, Ashanti looked very excited and happy.

She talked with ESSENCE and disclosed her pregnancy and engagement. She said, “This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope, and anticipation.”
While talking about her upcoming role as mother, Ashanti added, “Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiance, and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience.”
In addition to engagement and pregnancy, the couple also discussed some business things. They announced that Nelly and Ashanti are the co-owners of Proove, along with founder Amy Beckley, PhD.
