Nicholas Kirton scored the highest 49 runs after facing 35 balls. He smashed two towering sixes and three fours.

Ireland did not look very confident in the counterattack and lost the match by 12 runs. Their wickets fell at regular intervals, and no single batsman scored more than 40 runs. Mark Adair, the ninth number batsman, scored the highest 34 runs in Canada vs Ireland.
