Cassie Ventura’s Lawyer Responds to Diddy’s Apology

Attorney of Cassie Ventura believes Sean Diddy Combs’ apology is a matter of his personal safety. Meredith Firedog responded to the apology video Combs shared on her Instagram.

A case that happened in 2016 is now in the headlines after CNN released a video of Sean Diddy Combs and his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. In the viral video, Sean can be seen brutally beating his girlfriend. 

Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against the rapper for his wrongdoings in 2016. However, the case was dismissed at that time as there was a reconciliation between the two. 

CNN released a surveillance video on May 17 that shows everything that happened in 2016. The video contains everything Cassie Ventura mentioned in her lawsuit five years ago. Combs denied all of Ventura’s allegations at the time and settled the case with the power of money.

Now, as his brutality is going viral and everyone is hating him for all he has done, the rapper has shared an apology video. He accepts his mistakes and asks for professional help. 

However, Cassie Ventura’s attorney has exposed Combs’ agenda behind this newly launched video. According to the lawyer, Combs is just trying to protect his popularity and has no sympathy for the girls he has hurt.

What does Meredith Firedog say about Combs’ apology?

Ventura’s lawyer, Meredith Firedog, said in a statement, “Combs’ most recent statement (apology message) is more about himself than the many people he has hurt.” 

The lawyer mentioned Cassie’s and many other cases in his statement and said, “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday.” 

He added, “That he was only compelled to apologize once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and his disingenuous words will sway no one.” 

Let us make it clear to you that multiple women have accused Diddy of physical and mental abuse. However, the rapper never accepted any accusations from females, including his girlfriend Cassie Ventura. 

He accepted and apologized when his wrongdoings went public through a video.

What Does Sean Diddy Say in the Apology video?

In his Instagram apology video, Combs expressed how reflecting on the darkest times in one’s life can be incredibly challenging. He admitted to being deeply troubled and hitting rock bottom, and he acknowledged his behavior in the video as inexcusable, making no excuses for his actions.

He took full responsibility for his actions in that video.

Feeling disgusted by his behavior both then and now, Combs shared that he sought professional help, including therapy and rehab, and turned to God for mercy and grace. He expressed his deep remorse and commitment to becoming a better man daily.

He clarified that he was not asking for forgiveness but was genuinely sorry.
