General Hospital Actor Johnny Wactor Shot Dead in Los Angeles

No arrest has been made so far in the actor’s murder case. Johnny Wactor was known for his portrayal in General Hospital and some other series. 

General Hospital fame actor Johnny Wactor was shot dead by three people. The brutal encounter took place this Saturday when masked thieves killed the actor when he interrupted them to steal a catalytic converter. 

After the murder, all three killers managed to escape, while Vector was immediately sent to the hospital. Doctors declared him dead without any surgeries. 

According to the sources, the thieves were trying to steal a catalytic converter from Johnny Wactor’s car. The General Hospital actor attempted to stop the thieves before they shot him dead. 

According to the police, all three thieves escaped from the spot. However, a case has been registered against the masked thieves. Till the time of publishing the news, no one has been arrested in this case.

The General Hospital actor was 37 and facing some ups and downs in his acting career. However, he was loved for his different portrayals in different TV shows, including General Hospital. 

Wactor’s mother was informed about the murder

Johnny Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, talked to NBC 4 about the facts regarding her son’s death. She told the outlet that his son was returning to his car after work when he saw some people stealing something from his car. 

She also told NBC that her son felt that someone was doing something with his car but did not suspect the danger. He just approached the masked men and asked what they were doing. Sadly, the thieves did not think the same and shot Wactor immediately. 

According to the reports, the incident happened at the corner of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street in downtown LA. 

Wactor’s brother, Grant, revealed that Johnny Wactor was working as a bartender. He also stated, “He was one of the most charismatic people I knew. Because when he talked or listened, you could tell it was genuine.” 

He added, “He (Johnny) lived life his way. He did exactly what he wanted, even to his last day. He walked the walk.”

Johnny Wactor was best known for his acting in the epic TV series General Hospital. However, in addition to General Hospital, he also worked in many other series. He played a crucial character in the USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage. 

In addition, Wactor worked in Siberia (2013), Disillusioned (2018) and Supercall (2023).
