Helmet Saves the Life of Gordon Ramsay During an Accident 

TV celebrity Gordon Ramsay was recently involved in a brutal bicycle accident. He suffered some serious injuries and was hospitalized for some time.

Gordon Ramsay recently had a serious bicycle accident. His helmet was utterly destroyed in the accident. However, it was the helmet that saved Ramsay from more severe injuries and major consequences.

The accident occurred while he was riding on the streets of Connecticut. It did not cause any bone damage or broken bones. However, it left him with some pain and external injuries. The MasterChef star has a passion for bicycles and prefers riding bikes from time to time.

Gordon Ramsay’s Instagram Post 

Gordon took to Instagram to post about what happened to him and how others can avoid it. He appealed to all fathers to promote wearing helmets during Father’s Day. 

His Instagram read, Sound ON, and plz Swipe through…..with #FathersDay tomorrow. I have a very important message for all the dads out there…WEAR A HELMET ! This week I had a really bad accident while riding my bike in Connecticut,” he revealed the accident and place. 

Gordon Ramsay added, “I’m doing ok and did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries but I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato. I’m thankful for all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Lawerence + Memorial Hospital in New London who looked after me and checked me out, but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life.” 

He concluded with the following words on Father’s Day: “Have a great Father’s Day and be safe, Gx.” 

Additionally, he lifted his shirt to show some of the injuries near his stomach. In the video, it is clear that his hands are shaking, which may have been due to the accident.

In the video, Gordon reveals his love for bicycling and talks about the accident: “You know how much I love cycling and triathlons and the Isle of Man, etc., but this week, unfortunately, I had a really bad accident.”

He added, Honestly, “I’m lucky to be here. From those incredible trauma surgeons, doctors, and nurses in the hospital who looked after me this week, they were excellent, but honestly, you’ve got to wear a helmet.”
