Bumrah shifts India on the driving sheet in the India vs England second test match. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah gave the blows to the English batsman with the support of Kuldeep Yadav. 

After losing the first test match at home, the Indian team has decided to fight back. Firstly, Yashasvi Jaiswal hits double tons for the team to take India to a strong score of 396 runs. 

However, other Indian batters did not support Yashasvi that well in this India vs England test. Otherwise, their score could have been even higher. 

Despite an average batting performance, the Indian bowlers take charge without any fear. Star bowler Jasprit Bumrah took a maximum of 6 wickets for his team. Spinning star Kuldip Yadav supported him well with three essential wickets. 

England Fall of Wickets

After finishing the Indian batting lineup with a score of 396, England came to bat. The opening pair of Zak Crawly and Duckett gave England a good start. They added 59 runs without losing any wickets. 

However, Kuldip did not let their plans succeed and took his first wicket in the form of Duckett. Soon, Axar also did a lot of damage to the England batting lineup by picking Crawly’s wicket. 

Once the openers went back to the pavilion, Jasprit started his game. He sent Root, Pop, Bairstow, and Foakes back to the dressing room for the next inning preparation. Kuldeep also spread the magic of his spin and sent Foakes and Rehan back to back to the pavilion. 

Bumrah concluded the England batting by taking Tom’s wicket on a total team score of 253 runs by taking the wickets of Hartley and Anderson. 

England Scorecard

England scored a total of 253 runs in its first innings. Zak Crawly was the highest scorer for the British team, with a score of 76 runs. Stokes also scored 47 runs for his team and became the second-highest scorer. 

Before the end of today’s play, the Indian team had scored 28 runs without losing any wickets. India has a solid lead of 171 runs, and all of its wickets are alive.
