MI vs RCB: The Dangerous Surya Kumar is Back

MI vs RCB Highlights 

Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians took on Du Plessis’ Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 25th IPL match. Like most of its matches, the favorite RCB lost badly because of its poor bowling. 

Professionals and former Indian cricketers have always pointed out that RCB is losing because of its poor bowling. However, the Bengaluru management has consumed some weeds and is not ready to make any changes. 

At Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, the home team won the toss and opted to bowl first. The legend, Virat Kohli, failed this time after he came to open with Du Plessis. Virat lost his wicket after scoring three runs on nine balls. He did not smash any boundary or six in his innings. 

However, captain du Plessis took charge of RCB and played some good cricketing shots. The new man on the crease went back to the pavilion so early in this MI vs. RCB match. 

Bengaluru lost its two wickets for just 23 runs. However, Du Plessis and Rajat Patidar played some good cricket to lift their team above 100. Patidar scored 50 runs on just 26 balls, with four sixes and 3 boundaries.

Maxwell continued his poor batting and went back without scoring a run. However, Dinesh Karthik was the man who supported his captain and played a 53 runs’ quick innings. Karthik smashed five four sixes and five fours in his short but impactful innings. 

Du Plessis played a critical 61 runs inning with three sixes and four fours. RCB gave a reasonable target of 197 runs to MI.

Bumrah took a maximum of five wickets for Mumbai Indians.

MI Batting 

Suryakumar Yadav registered his comeback successfully against RCB. MI took a good start and scored 101 runs without losing any wickets. MI lost their first wicket in the form of Ishan Kishan on a 101 total score. Ishan scored 69 runs on just 34 balls, with five sixes and seven fours. 

After Kishan, Surya came to the crease and destroyed RCB’s bowling completely. Yadav scored 52 runs on 19 balls, with four towering sixes and five boundaries. Amid Surya’s world-class batting, Rohit lost his wicket after scoring 38 on 24 balls. 

Captain Hardik Pandya and youngster Tilak Verma gave their team the final touches to win this MI vs. RCB match. Hardik scored a very fast 21 runs, while Tilak played a 16-run innings. 

MI won the match with wickets in hand and before 4.3 overs. 

Du Plessis, Surya Kumar Yadav, Dinesh Karthik, and Ishan Kishan were the heroes of this MI vs RCB match.
