NFL superstar Christian McCaffrey and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo are officially married. The celebrity couple tied the knot at a church in Rhode Island, their dream wedding venue.
They got married in a chapel in Watch Hill, a coastal neighborhood in Westerly. Olivia revealed that McCaffrey chose the wedding venue as he had always wanted to marry in a church.
She said, “That (wedding in a church) was our number one priority.” While chatting with Vogue, the model, 32, said, “When I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments that he thinks that I am most beautiful, it’s absolutely in something like this: timeless, covered, and elegant.”
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo’s marriage was a complete Christian wedding. They believe marriage is a lifelong commitment. Culpo said that marriage is a covenant. It’s the beginning of the rest of your life. She added that it’s the union and bond of two people forever.
Culpo looked very simple, even on her wedding day. She wore a long-sleeve ball gown featuring a crew neck and dropped waist, paired with a 16-foot lace veil and minimal makeup.
She did not use any mascara or eyebrow gel. When asked, the former Miss Universe said, “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it is complementing me, not overpowering me.” She believes in simplicity and clearly stated, “There is so much beauty in simplicity.”
