The documentary, released on Friday on Apple TV Plus, is based on 78 78-year-old comedian and actor’s long career. Oscar-winning director Morgan Neville has directed this documentary.

In her March 29 Instagram stories, Salena shared a snap of herself watching the documentary. She mentioned the line about her pain in Steve Martin‘s life. She also added, “He’s truly an icon and tried and never gave up … my dear friend, you are extraordinary.” The documentary, STEVE!

She also posted a heartfelt tribute to Martin on her social media on March 26, 2024. The picture was from a shot of Only Murders in the Building. The actress captioned the post; I want to thank Steve and Marty for truly being the kindest, gentle, warm, and powerful influences in my life. You have shown me a level of class, intellect, and humor that doesn’t seem to be easy to find anymore. She also called them her best friend.
