India and Afghanistan were again facing each other in the second T20 match. On a high-scoring pitch, Afghanistan barely reached 172 runs in all 20 overs. India chased the target easily in just 15.4 overs after losing four wickets.
Gulbadin scored 57 runs for Afghanistan, which was the highest score by any Afghan batsman. However, half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dubey easily gave victory to India.

India and Afghanistan were at Holkar Cricket Stadium for the second T20 match. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Initially, when Gurbaz and Zadran played, Sharma’s decision did not seem effective.
Afghanistan Highlights
When Bishnoi sent Gurbaz back to the pavilion, he looked calm. However, even after the first setback, Afghanistan did not take a break and moved up the scorecard rapidly. Zadran and Gulbadin were in a killing mood when Axar took a wicket for India.
Ibrahim Zadran lost his wicket on a total personal score of 8 runs in 10 balls. However, his partner Gulbadin did not let the run rate down. Shivam Dube soon took the wicket of Azmatullah when he was on a score of 2 runs.
Nabi could not do so much for his team and went back to the dressing room after scoring 14 runs on 18 balls. However, India got some rest in the eleventh over when danger-looking Gulbadin lost his wicket.
Karim Janat and Mujeeb also gave their team good final touches, scoring 20 and 21 crucial runs in the death overs.
Afghanistan scored a total of 172 runs in 20 overs. Ravi Bishnoi, Axar, Shivam Dube, and Sundar took one wicket each for India.
India highlights
India did not get a good start again, and skipper Rohit Sharma lost his wicket on a duck. However, his partner, Yashasvi Jaiswal, was in a different mood and did not take any pressure from the captain’s wicket.
Virat Kohli, playing for the first time in the series, joined Jaiswal after Sharma. Kohli started attacking Afghani bowlers from the first ball faced. He scored 29 runs on just 16 balls and sent the ball out of boundary four times.
India lost Virat’s wicket in the sixth over in the form of Virat Kohli. Shivam Dube, the new man on the crease, took charge and started hitting big shots. Jaiswal and Dube took a tough class of Afghani bowlers and put India on the edge of an easy win.
Jaiswal, in 68, and Dube, in 63 runs innings, hit many big shots. Finally, Rinku Singh completed the formalities with his nine runs, and India won the match in just 15.4 overs.
