Simone Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, has been trolled after claiming to have some weird facts regarding his first meeting with Simone.
The entire social media, especially X, also known as Twitter, has been filled with posts and comments regarding Simone Biles. People are trolling Biles’ husband brutally for his recent claims regarding his own Simone Biles. Actually, in a recent interview, Jonathan Owens, an American Football strong safety for Green Bay Packers, has claimed that he was unaware about Biles’ success when he met her for the first time.
According to Owens, I didn’t know who she was at the time. But like, the first thing that I saw was that she just had a bunch of followers. So in my mind, I am like, Okay, she has got to be good. Owens added I am like, Lemme see who this she (Simone Biles). He also said that I never really paid attention to gymnastics. Owens claimed that he paid attention to Simone when she popped up on Raya back in 2020.
Fans’ Reaction to Simone Biles’ Husband
Once the interview went on air, Simone’s fans did not find these claims well and started trolling Owens. Most people feel that whatever claims Owen has made are baseless and artificial. It is impossible for someone to be unaware of Simone Biles, who has gained a lot of popularity and international awards. Fans said that it seemed impossible for Owens to have never even heard of Biles.
Jonathan’s Clarification
Jonathan, during the same interview, tried to clarify what he had said but, unfortunately, failed. He said, when she won the Olympics, I was in college, and we did not have NBS, we did not have Olympics channels, and we were in camp in late July or early August. Owens added that I never had a moment where I would have watched (Simone’s performance).
People Angry at Simon Biles
Some people are also angry with Simone Biles because he did not respond to Owens’ claims. She was also there when Jonathan was making all these claims, and Biles was just smiling at that time. People are now saying that Simone should have reacted and stopped her husband.
