Indian cricket fans were not so happy with the Indian team’s overall performance. Rohit Sharma’s team was completely disappointing in the first match, resulting in an inning loss. However, in the second test against South Africa, bowlers smashed the entire batting lineup of the hosts.
Siraj on fire
In the second test match, Md. Siraj looked on fire and took six crucial wickets for South Africa. Till the lunch break, Indian bowlers, including Siraj, booked the whole South African team on a total score of 55 runs in 23.2 overs.
Siraj gave the initial breakthrough to his team by taking the wicket of Aiden Markram with a total score of 5 runs. South Africa had added only three runs to the table when Siraj gave the second blow. This time, he bowled the dangerous Dean Elgar. Target for India
Since South Africa has one inning to play, India has no exact target. However, since South Africa has scored only 55 runs in their first innings, India requires only 55 runs to win the first innings game.
Rohit Sharma’s team will now look to score at least 350 runs to win the match by innings and compensate for the shameful defeat of the last match.
