CSK batting

Chennai did not get a good start and lost two early wickets. Both opening batsmen went back at a total score of 7 runs. Gaikwad went back on one, and his partner Rachin followed him after scoring 2.

Ajinkya Rahane played well to push out the team from the pressure of initial two wickets. However, no CSK batsmen looked that confident to chase the score. Rahane with 45 runs on 30 balls and Daryl Mitchell with 34 runs on 26 balls tried to bounce back.
