DC vs SRH: Hyderabad Continues Dominance with Bat

Like most Hyderabad matches, DC vs SRH was also a high-scoring game that they won by a massive difference. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the battle by 67 runs.

Hyderabad is looking like a giant of IPL 2024 and is brutally destroying the opposition bowling lineups. Once again, their openers took a brilliant start and set a huge target for Delhi Capitals

Chasing a mountain-like score, DC scored 199 runs and lost all their wickets. They did not even play the entire overs and gave the gift of victory to SRH.

DC vs SRH Highlights

DC vs SRH took place at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The home team, Delhi Capitals, won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rishabh Pant’s decision to invite visitors to bat first was a very bad decision for the home team.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma came to open for SRH. The opening pair of Hyderabad brutally destroyed the Delhi bowlers. They played like a run machine and built a quick 131-run partnership in just 6.2 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav’s retaliation

Head and Sharma were in no mood to forgive anyone and were punishing everyone with huge sixes. However, Kuldeep took charge of Delhi Capitals and went dangerous, looking for Abhishek to go back to the pavilion.

Abhishek played with a strike rate of almost four hundred and smashed six sixes and two fours.

Kuldeep struck again for Delhi, taking out Markram in the seventh over. Despite two wickets down, Delhi was still under pressure with dangerous batsman Head at the crease. But Kuldeep delivered once more in his next over, dismissing Head, which was a crucial breakthrough for his team.

The DC vs SRH battle looked leveled until Shahbaz did not come to bat. Shahbaz continued the game Abhishek and Head started. He played a 59 runs’ knock on just 29 balls.

With the destructive innings of Shahbaz Ahmad and a supporting role of Nitish Reddy, SRH set a 267 runs target for DC.

DC Bowling

Don’t know whether the bowling was poor or the batting was strong. But DC bowled very badly. Except for Kuldeep Yadav, no Delhi bowlers gave any competition to SRH. Kuldeep got four crucial wickets.

DC Batting

Delhi Capitals also displayed poor batting performance. They lost their first wicket in the very first over. Prithvi Shaw returned after hitting four consecutive boundaries in the first over.

The second opener, David Warner, also lost his wicket early after scoring one run off three balls. The youngster Jake Fraser took charge of Delhi’s batting and played a 65-run innings for his team. Jake looked so dangerous while batting, and he played a 65-run knock on just 18 balls. He smashed seven towering sixes and five boundaries.

Abhishek Porel also played a fantastic inning for DC and kept the hopes alive. However, the DC vs SRH match shifted to SRH completely when Porel went back to the dressing room.

Delhi lost the match by 67 runs, even after the master performance of Kuldeep Yadav and Jake Fraser.

Match Heroes

Kuldeep Yadav Took four crucial wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The SRH total could have been more than 300 if Kuldeep had not come.
