Kisan Diwas commemorates the birth of former Indian PM Chaudhary Charan Singh, who was born on December 23, 1902. Acknowledging the contributions of Mr. Singh to Indian forming and formers, the government officially announced 23rd of December as Kisan Diwas in 2001.

This day is also celebrated as the National Root Day in the US. On this particular day, people learn about their parents and grandparents and connect with the memories. Compatriots also learn about the achievements, decisions, and struggles of their parents and their parents.

International Human Rights Month
