The International Cricket Council has released the schedule of the T20 World Cup, in which the USA will also participate for the first time. This is going to be a very interesting tournament for the 22nd-ranked American cricket team.
The USA will be on the field in a total of four group-stage matches in the ICC T20 World Cup. The US cricket team has been placed in Group A and will play all its group matches against Canada, Pakistan, India, and Ireland.
The results of these group matches will decide the future of the American cricket team, whether they will play Super 8 matches or not. The final will also be based on the victories in the group and Super 8 matches.

The USA will open its first ICC tournament against arch-rivals Canada on June 1 in Dallas. After Canada, they will face Asian giants Pakistan on June 6 at the same venue. The next and most difficult match for the American team will be on June 12 when they play against mighty India in New York. The USA will play its last group match against Ireland on June 14.

USA in T20s
According to the ICC, the USA is the 22nd-ranked T20 team, which is its best-ever position. The USA played its first T20 match against the United Arab Emirates on the ground in Dubai on March 15. The USA has played a total of 21 T20 matches and won only 9.
Although the USA has previously qualified for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 3 times, they are playing the tournament for the first time. The American team qualified for the T20 World Cup in 2010 for the first time.
