India has announced its 15-man squad for the forthcoming ICC Twenty Twenty World Cup. Selectors have not made any big changes in the squad, many cricket lovers and experts predicted. However, some names in the Indian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup can be debatable.

Rishabh Pant

The Indian selectors have shown confidence in Rishabh Pant as a player with the gloves. Although he has demonstrated good cricket in some of his IPL matches, other names can also be considered. KL Rahul is one of the favorites for this role; his experience and batting style overseas could have been a good choice.

Some experts also include Ishan Kishan in their squad. Dinesh Karthik, the finisher, is also the name that experts and even fans suggested for a wicketkeeper.

Hardik Pandya

I don’t know whether it is his poor form or the anger of the fans against Hardik, but people, and even some experts, do not like the inclusion of Pandya as the vice-captain. From the date he switched from GT to MI, his form has dropped down. In both the departments, Hardik has been completely flopped.

His captaincy has been the most important reason for anything happening with him. Pandya came to bowl the first or second over and gave too many runs. Most of his decisions were proven wrong, and with the bat, he has done nothing.

According to experts, Harshal Patel could be a better choice as a fast bowling all-rounder in the Indian squad of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Indian selectors have shown their interest in a complete spin attack and have included Jadeja, Axar, Kuldeep, and Chahal on the squad. However, it is known that it could have been done with three spin bowlers also. It will be very difficult for India to play four spinners,,; hence, the fourth spinner will remain on the bench only.
