London is ready again to host one of the most popular Marathons all across the world. As per the reports, the annual London Marathon 2024 will take place on Sunday, April 21. More than 50,000 men and women will participate in the iconic 26.2-mile/42.195 km race. 

The race will start from the heart of London, Greenwich, and end at Blackheath. According to the reports arriving, three out of the four fastest women in history will join the race and aim to create records. 

Women’s record in the London Marathon 

All three great stars of women’s racing history will look to break the record set in 2017. The current women’s-only record, 2:17:01, was set by Mary Keitany at the 2017 Marathon. 

Tigst Assefa and Brigid Kosgei will be the best female contestants in the London Marathon. Sifan Hassan won the 2023 women’s only London Marathon race. 

Men record in London Marathon

This London Marathon will also feature some of the best male athletes. Kenenisa Bekele and Tamirat Tola will be the highlights of 2024 TCS London Marathon.

Kenyan athlete Kelvin Kiptum set a men’s world record, 2:01:25, in the 2023 London Marathon. He was the winner, obviously. 

Where to watch the London Marathon 2024?

The 2024 London Marathon will be broadcast worldwide through its official TV and live-streaming partners. The live broadcasting will begin at 4:00 AM EST on April 21. 

People in England may stream live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer online. However, people in China, New Zealand, Japan, and MENA territories can catch the action on the Olympic Channel, olympics.com. 

Discovery and Eurosport are also covering the event in Pan Europe and Asia. North Americans and Australians can watch live FloTrack.
