Authorities arrested Morgan Wallen for throwing a chair off the 6th story of the new Chief’s bar. The country singer was charged with three felony counts early in the morning.

Country music artist Morgan Wallen was apprehended by law enforcement officials on charges of felony after an incident at a downtown restaurant. Reports indicate that Metro Nashville police officers were stationed near Chief’s Bar on Broadway on Sunday evening.

They observed chairs being tossed from the establishment’s roof. The chairs narrowly missed the officers as they landed on the ground below.

Upon investigation, officers identified Morgan Wallen as the individual responsible for hurling chairs from the sixth story of the establishment. Consequently, Nashville police placed Wallen under arrest for causing damage to the property of the bar and endangering the safety of individuals in the vicinity.

Bar staff also presented the video of Country Singer Morgan Wallen. In the video, Wallen can clearly be seen throwing objects over the roof. People nearby also told officers that the drunk singer was laughing after throwing the chairs. 

Morgan Wallen’s reaction 

Morgan has not personally responded to the media questions or fan theories. However, his attorney released a brief statement Monday morning. 

At 10:53p Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”

According to information retrieved from the Davidson County Criminal Court website, Morgan Wallen’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 3rd. Interestingly, Wallen was already slated to be in Nashville around that time, as his tour includes a performance at Nissan Stadium on May 2nd and 3rd. This proximity in timing adds a notable dimension to the unfolding events surrounding his legal situation.
