Global Trends Sports

India concluded the thrill with the second test match win

The second test between India and South Africa ended on the second day of its start. India’s second test match win has ended the series at 1-1.

The bowling-dominated second India vs South Africa test match has reached its end today. India won the match easily in its second innings with Rohit Sharma’s support.

It has never been easy for India to perform and win Test matches on South African soil. Rohit Sharma’s team not only managed to win the second test match but also won it easily and one-sidedly.

Indian pacers are the heroes of this crucial and historic win for India. After the shameful defeat in the first test match, Siraj and Bumrah did the magic for their team. Aiden Markram tried hard to send the Indian bowlers on the back foot, but his efforts proved insufficient.

The second test match full highlight

In this match, the bowlers of both India and South Africa showed their talent. Mohammad Siraj broke the back of African batting in their first innings by taking six wickets. Siraj, with his bowling partners, forced the entire RSA team to kneel on a meager score of just 55 runs.

After the flop show in batting, South Africa also showed talent in bowling. They did not allow India to score runs easily, and Rabada and company restricted India’s innings to just 153.

South Africa again came to bat on the very first day of the match. South Africa was trailing by 98 runs when they started their second innings. Mukesh Kumar took two initial wickets from South Africa and never let them be comfortable.

Although Aiden Markram showed great courage, his efforts were not enough to let them win the second Test match. This time, Bumrah took a five-wicket haul and stopped the African innings at a total score of 176 runs. Markram scored a total of 106 runs for his team.

India won comfortably

In response to South Africa’s weak lead of 76 runs, India won comfortably. Jaiswal smashed 28 runs for his team and allowed India to win the match. India lost three wickets before hitting the winning shot.

Mohammad Siraj got the Player of the Match award, while Markram got the Player of the Series.
